Legal
Privacy Policy
Plain-language draft, written for a project in early development — not a substitute for legal advice.
Effective September 10, 2026
Who this covers
This policy is written and maintained by the MIRAEUM operating team ("we," "us"), for the website at miraeum.com. It does not yet cover the MIRA app itself — MIRA is still in early development, and a separate, more detailed privacy policy will apply to the app before it opens for sign-ups.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly. If you email us — for example, using the "Get in touch" link, or writing to us about support or a partnership — we receive your email address and whatever else you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours is served through a hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare), which automatically logs standard technical information when you visit — such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps — for security, performance, and abuse prevention. We do not currently use cookies, analytics tools, or advertising trackers on this site.
How we use this information
- To respond to invite requests, support questions, and partnership inquiries
- To operate, secure, and maintain the website
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and routes our email on our behalf, and so processes data as part of running the site. We do not otherwise share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Where information is processed
Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical data may pass through or be processed in countries other than your own. Cloudflare maintains its own security and privacy practices for this infrastructure.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and invite requests only as long as needed to respond to you and manage the early-access waitlist, and we delete them once they're no longer needed or when you ask us to.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to hi-eum@miraeum.com. As a Canada-based project, we aim to handle these requests consistent with the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We expect this policy to change as MIRA moves from early development toward launch. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date.
